Raw denim's worst enemy is heat. You can have them dry-cleaned. Please be sure to let your dry cleaner know that your jeans are raw denim.

Jeans can be dry cleaned as often as you might dry clean a suit or a coat. Depending on frequency of wear, one to two times per year.

Need a quick, but efficient way to freshen up/remove odors from your jeans? Throw them in the freezer overnight and odors disappear! Freezing denim kills bacteria from well-worn jeans without actually having to wash them and affect the fade or overall integrity of the denim.
